Management and Budget Division
Mission:
To establish budget policies and guide the management
of monetary, personnel, capital, and other resources to ensure their
efficient and effective allocation by City operations and elected
officials in order to meet the needs of Orlando’s citizens and visitors
and maintain its long-term financial viability.
Welcome Management & Budget Division
The Management and Budget Division,
directed by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and currently managed by
the Deputy CFO, provide advice, support and guidance in the following
areas:
- Budget Formulation, Execution, and Monitoring
- Strategic Management
- Financial Planning
- Organizational Development
- Capital Planning
- Financial Forecasting
- Policy Analysis
The Management and Budget Division
guide the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the
City’s annual budget in concurrence with Florida statues. The Division
utilizes a strategically focused budgeting approach providing timely and
objective financial oversight, to ensure both the integrity, and
stability of the City’s financial position. The Division has been
consistently recognized for its employment of cost-effective initiatives
that support the achievement of the City of Orlando's long-term policy
goals.
