Chase and Jocelynn Attend Gatorland's Opening Preview
of Their Giant White Alligator Exhibit
February 12, 2009

Chase and Jocelynn getting "close and personal"
with a couple of residents at Gatorland.

A three-year old alligator.

One of Gatorland's largest alligator, Buddy, is 14-feet long.

No, this isn't a picture of nothing.  The little red spots are just a few of
the hundreds of eyes of gators living in the swamp at Gatorland.

One of the gators coming up to the side of the bridge to get a
hot dog snack the handler is tossing to them.

This is a young albino alligator.  Notice the pink eyes.  These albino gators are
different from the "stars" of the new exhibit of the giant white alligators.

This is one of four white alligators at Gatorland's Giant White Alligator exhibit.
Besides their white hide, they are even more unique for their brilliant, blue eyes.

Here, you can see the gator's blue eyes.  The greenish-brown spots are
actually like freckles on the alligator.  They are splotches of pigment in their skin.
