Thornton Park Neighborhood Easter
Egg Hunt
April 4, 2009  The Thornton Park Neighborhood Association couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and perfect day for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt held in Constitution Green.  All the children were waiting anxiously to get the hunt started.  Commissioner Sheehan chats with Thornton Park Easter Egg Hunt organizers and Leo Hunt, Jr. (right), Thornton Park Neighborhood Association President, before the hunt starts.  Everyone get ready!  A little egg peeking through the grass waiting to be found by a little hand.  And they're off!!  Little Thornton Parkers hunting for eggs with the help of their mommies and daddies.  Still hunting for eggs....  Oops, she missed an orange one just to her left.  Such a beautiful day for an Easter egg hunt under Constitution Green's gorgeous, signature tree.  And the hunt's just wrapping up in time for.....  ....the arrival of the EASTER BUNNY!!  The kids were excited and wanted to show the Easter Bunny all the eggs they had found.  All the children wanted to meet and hug the Easter Bunny.  The Easter Bunny is amazed at all the eggs the children found while Thornton Park's very own, Lauren Rowe, takes pictures.  Thornton Parker and Easter Egg Hunt organizer, Cindy Gold, escorts the Easter Bunny to the tree to meet the rest of the children.  Commissioner Sheehan chats with several Thornton Park residents.
