Events/Marketing
Team
The
Office of Communications and Neighborhood Relations has been recognized both
locally and nationally for its award-winning productions. Most
recently winning a Golden Brick for the
Annual Blues-B-Q, a blues concert featuring regional and national acts
and highlighting several local BBQ restaurants on the street in front of
City Hall. The Events/Marketing Team has also won awards for the
City's annual Fireworks at the Fountain and the Holiday Lights Orlando
events.
Multimedia Team
The Office of Communications
and Neighborhood Relations
has also won nine Telly Awards for television productions. Most
recently, the Office was awarded two Bronze Telly Awards for Mayor
Dyer's State of Downtown "It's Working Now" video and Inside Orlando's
"Behind the Badge" SWAT segment. The Telly
Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television
commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film
productions.

Creative Services Team
The Office of Communication and Neighborhood
Relations received two MarCom Creative Awards for the Mennello Museum website design
and for the web animations for the Children and Education website.
The City's two websites have been recognized by 3CMA.
Orlando en Espanol, Orlando's Spanish
website, won a Savy Award, the highest honor, for providing Orlando's Hispanic
residents with a Spanish-language resource for municipal information
online. In 2001, CityofOrlando.net also received an Award of Excellence from
3CMA. |
