OPD Active Calls
In April, 2008, CityofOrlando.net began
providing citizens access to the Orlando Police Department's
Active Calls. Through this
system, visitors may review the list of dispatched calls for
service; noting the date, time, incident location and call type.
This project was a collaborative effort with the Orlando Police
Department, the Technology Management Division and the Office of
Communications.
Tax Calculator
During the 2008-2009 budget process, Orlando residents were able to
input their
address and receive an estimated City property tax bill through
the
online tax calculator. This project was
a collaborative effort with the Technology Management Division and the
Office of Communications.
Interactive Maps
In August 2008, the Transportation Division's parking locator
map transitioned to an interactive Google map. Through this new
service, visitors can find turn by turn directions from their
start location to many public parking garages available to
visitors to the City of Orlando.
