Mayor Dyer to Unveil Proposal for Multi-Year, Multi-Million Dollar Citywide Public Safety Initiative

WHAT: As the City of Orlando prepares the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007, Mayor Dyer will unveil a multi-year, multi-million dollar public safety initiative resulting from additional funds generated by increased property tax revenues. This significant, public safety-funding proposal will be presented to Orlando City Council next week during budget camp for FY 06-07.
