WHO: ORLANDO MAYOR BUDDY DYER WHAT: CITY OF ORLANDO SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT WORK-ALONG WHEN: THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 2003 6:30 A.M. TO 10 A.M. WHERE: BEGINS AT SOLID WASTE BUREAU 1028 SOUTH WOODS AVE. ORLANDO, FL (April 23, 2003) – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. will participate in a workday with the City of Orlando Solid Waste department. Mayor Dyer will work-along with the residential division on the north city collection route. The route begins at Magnolia and Hillcrest, south of Colonial, and will head eastbound, working back and forth through the northern part of the Eola Heights neighborhood to Livingston. The truck will then cross S.R. 50, work the Park Lake neighborhood up to Lake Highland Preparatory School and will then proceed toward Mills Avenue to Audubon Park for recycling and finally to Parramore, where the Mayor will work the robotic arm with the new automated collection truck. Maryalicia Johnson will attend the work-along and will be able to assist with pinpointing the Mayor’s location during the event. Please contact her via cell at 407-468-3379.
