MAYOR TO WELCOME HOME MISS AMERICA 2004 ERICKA DUNLAP

WHERE: CITY HALL, 400 SOUTH ORANGE AVE. ORLANDO, FL (October 22, 2003) – Mayor Buddy Dyer Saturday at 9:30 a.m. will welcome home Ericka Dunlap, Miss America 2004, at Orlando City Hall with the unveiling of a banner in her honor. On September 20, 2003, Ericka was crowned Miss America 2004 in Atlantic City, NJ. She is only the second Floridian in the pageant's history to have won the title, and will travel and make appearances throughout the United States for one year. Ericka is a graduate of Boone High School and is a senior at the University of Central Florida. Her educational goal is to obtain a juris doctorate degree and specialize in entertainment and sports law.
