ORLANDO, FL (November 10, 2003) -- The public is invited to join Mayor Buddy Dyer for the second meeting of the Mayor’s Parramore Task Force on Wednesday, November 12, 2003, at 6 p.m. at the J. B. Callahan Neighborhood Center.

The meeting will address areas identified by the task force as critical for the revitalization of the Parramore area:

· Housing
· Master planning/zoning
· Public safety/public works
· Social services/education

The goal of the task force is to develop coordinated action strategies that will help restore the neighborhood into a safe, livable and sustainable place for Orlando citizens, businesses and institutions to thrive. The first meeting of the 23-member task force was held on November 5.
