MAYOR TO WORK IN COURTHOUSE PARKING GARAGE

8:30 - 10:30 A.M.

WHERE: 46 E. AMELIA STREET (BETWEEN ORANGE AND ROSALIND)

ORLANDO, FL (November 25, 2003) – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. will participate in a workday with the City of Orlando Parking Division at the Courthouse Garage.

Mayor Dyer will work in the ticket booth alongside the garage cashiers to learn their procedures, use the validator equipment, provide customer service and directions, and process transactions during peak parking hours.

The garage, which is one of nine city-operated facilities, provides convenient access to the downtown courthouse. The facility has 1,441 spaces, which is the largest of the city garages, processing an average of 1,600 transactions and 2,000 cars per day.
