September 30, 2009 - Mayor Buddy Dyer, along with youth from the City’s Parramore Kidz Zone (PKZ) program, joined fellow Orlando leaders (Steve Hogan, CEO-Florida Citrus Sports; Alex Martins, COO-Orlando Magic; Katherine Ramsberger, President-Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center; and Thomas Chatmon, Executive Director-Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agency) to Share-A-Meal with families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Orlando located on the campus of the Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children.
Share-A-Meal is just one of the many programs the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida provides so that families will have one less stressor during their times of crisis. Additionally, it allows resident families with ill children time to congregate and share with other families who are experiencing similar difficult situations.
