Commander- Vicki Robles 
Commander Robles is a 25 year veteran of the Orlando Fire Department.  She is responsible for the daily operations of the Division of Public Relations, including budget management, staffing, grant writing and management, and community outreach programs development and delivery. Commander Robles is responsible for marketing and public relations for the Orlando Fire Department.  Orlando Firefighters Pipes and Drums, OFD Honor Guard, Explorers, and the Orlando Fire Media Department are included in the Division of Public Relations.


The Orlando Fire Department is dedicated to

Produce and distribute fire prevention safety literature, both in English and Spanish. Maintain Smoke Detector Giveaway Program for under-privileged elementary school children and senior citizens through the National Safe Kids Network Program.

Install smoke detectors in low-income, high-risk areas to reduce the number of Orlando-area children injured or killed in fires and to reduce the number of childhood injuries.

Teach fire safety issues, such as the hazards of playing with matches, stop/drop/roll, and the proper procedures on vacating a burning building, etc. both in classrooms and in the department's Kids' Safety House , a mobile house on wheels designed to teach fire safety techniques.

Provide Fire Extinguisher training using films and "hands-on" demonstrations.

Enforce codes and standards pertaining to prevention of fire in senior citizen occupancies.
