Families, Parks and Recreation

Citrus Square Recreation Site provides an oasis for youth, adult and seniors. Located off of S. Semoran Boulevard in the Citrus Square Housing Authority, the center serves the complex and children and families from the surrounding community.

Programs:

Camp Orlando (ages 5-10): Mon - Fri, 7: 30 am - 5: 30 pm - Feature swimming, arts and crafts, outside activities, nature programs, field trips and more

Middle Teen Program (MTP) (ages 11 - 14): Mon - Fri, 2 – 5: 30 pm - A teen program where youth can develop leadership skills and cultural diversity awareness; The program features workshops, regular meetings, service projects, computers, tutoring, game room activities, art, field trips, puppets, and athletic activities

OASIS Program (ages 5 and 10): 2 pm - 5: 30 pm Mon - Fri - After school program designed to provide educational support and recreational activities that foster positive opportunities for children

Senior Program: Thursday and Friday, 9 am - 1 pm - Enjoy activities like sewing, arts and crafts, cooking and field trips

School Vacation Daze (ages 5- 14): 7: 30 am - 5: 30 pm - Are you wondering what to do during school holidays? Well, we have fun activities planned for you! Enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, game rooms, and much more during the traditional Orange County Public School vacation calendar year; Register at site prior to school holidays (see calendar)
