Lelia W. Allen, Director of Housing, began her career with the
City of Orlando in 1990 as a Planner in the Planning Department.
Lelia worked in several other capacities before being appointed
in June 2003 by Mayor Buddy Dyer to her current position.
Ms. Allen holds a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business and
Economics and a Masters Degree in Economics from Virginia State University. Ms. Allen also attended the John F. Kennedy School
of Government at Harvard University for Senior Executives in
State and Local Government.
