National Night Out 2008 (NNO) is coming!!!  August 5 is your night to shine!!! How will you support Safe Neighborhoods in the City Beautiful? The information below will give you all of the guidelines for your party.

National Night Out Theme:
Keep Orlando a safe city by reducing crime and maintaining livable neighborhoods.

Crime Prevention Theme Party Contest
First, Second, and Third Place prizes will be given to the watch area submitting the most outstanding and creative party plans. Winning parties will have a crime prevention theme that ties in to Orlando's NNO theme. Please include a detailed narrative of your party plans with your application. Entries must be received before July 11, 2008.

Prizes
Each winning party will receive a visit from the NNO Special Caravan: Mayor Buddy Dyer, Police Chief Val B. Demings, Fire Chief Jim Reynolds, and the Orlando City Commissioners.  The winning does not stop there! The top winner will also receive a $200.00 check from the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) to defray party costs. The Second and Third Place winners will receive gift certificates of smaller amounts for their parties.
