| Performs responsible work overseeing, coordinating and assisting in the development and execution of year-round operations of Orlando After School All Stars to include before and after school programs, summer camp, sports activities, educational projects, cultural programs and special events. Responsible for marketing and public relations to build community support and program recognition. Develop, plan, coordinate and execute at least three effective fund-raising special events annually to meet the financial/revenue goals established by the Orlando After School All Stars Board of Directors. Work with and fully support the Orlando After School All Stars Board, maintaining consistent and effective communications with all board members and cultivating their participation and interest in After School All Stars goals, events, activities and programs. Ensures compliance with all national program requirements and goals. Serves at the pleasure and direction of the Orlando After School All Stars Board of Directors. | |

Develops, produces and oversees the activities and program for Orlando After School All Stars and the distribution of registration materials and the computerized registration of all Orlando After School All Stars participants. Develops and maintains database of participants, volunteers and sponsors, and all statistical data on each participant.
Develops and administers annual budget for Orlando After School All Stars and related activities. Monitors expenditures and maintains ledgers in compliance with non-profit guidelines. Reviews invoices for completeness and accuracy, processes payments in a timely fashion, and issues quarterly reports to the Board.
Schedules, develops draft agenda, and attends Orlando After School All Stars Board of Directors and Executive Committee meetings and various subcommittee meetings. Provides technical assistance and support to all committees and board members, and responsible for timely, consistent and accurate communication with the Board.
Plans, organizes, coordinates and promotes major special events such as fund-raisers, kick-off luncheons, tournaments, volunteer recognition, heath and fitness expo, awards ceremony, etc.
Arranges special events, activities and recognition programs for sponsors and volunteers. Recruit, training and schedule volunteers for events; prepare volunteer recognition events and packets.
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with Orange County Public Schools officials on program coordination, facility use, student development, various reporting requirements, etc.
Develops marketing campaign oversees preparation of public service announcements for newspapers, radio and television stations; designs slide presentations, brochures and flyers to promote the Orlando After School All Stars, and generally build community, state and national recognition and support.
Performs other duties as assigned. | |

Thorough knowledge of rules governing the After School All Stars Foundation.
Ability to make public presentations to various groups.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the general public, representatives of local business and social organizations, and governing board.
Ability to develop and administer annual operating budgets with acceptable accounting practices.
Ability to supervise and evaluate staff, providing clear and effective direction, goals and oversight.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to generate statistical reports.

| Bachelor Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Leisure Services, Recreation, or other related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a position(s) of high responsibility and independence performing tasks such as scheduling and coordinating events, administering a budget, planning and conducting fund-raising events, interacting with representatives of various agencies to build support, and working with and supporting a governing board. Previous supervisory experience is desired; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida Drivers License is required. |
