Mayor's
Message |
|
Dear Friend,
|
I would like to personally invite you to
our holiday tradition... Holiday Lights
Orlando at City Hall Plaza on December 5
at 5:00 p.m.
Please join me, City employees,
neighbors and business owners for the
City's annual outdoor Christmas tree
lighting ceremony. In addition to the
more than 35,000 spectacular lights, you
will enjoy a variety of musical
entertainment, a visit from Santa and
holiday-themed refreshments. A live
sing-a-long will be led by evening
anchor Bob Frier of WKMG Local 6.
|
 |
Furthermore, in the spirit of holiday giving and
community service, the City has joined forces
with Johnny and Jayde of XL106.7 to collect toys
for their Baby DJ Fund. I encourage you to bring
an unwrapped toy to donate. Toys collected at
this event will be distributed by XL106.7 to
local families who are unable to provide their
children with toys for the holidays.
I hope to see you and your families at Holiday
Lights Orlando on December 5!
Sincerely,

Buddy Dyer
Mayor
